At the forefront of this business area is GBE’s partnership with Auriga Systems (www.auriga.co.uk). This has included manufacturing, servicing and design support for then entire range of Auriga’s core mobile data terminals since the early 1990s. The most recent being the CT4000: a CE.Net, xScale, PMR enabled in car computer. Along with manufacturing and programming 6500 units, GBE were also responsible for optimising the hardware design, programming and testing the low level electronic boot code and CE.Net operating system. This has also included onsite end-customer support and back-to-base servicing and repairs.
